Overview

The Test & Balance Journeyman position at ABM involves working safely in a chemical factory, collaborating with experienced technicians in a semiconductor facility, and maintaining system balance during equipment installation and troubleshooting. ABM is a large provider of integrated facility solutions and is committed to creating smarter, connected spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Work safely and follow all protocols to remain safe while working in a chemical factory.
  • Collaborate closely with experienced Testing, Adjusting and Balancing Technicians.
  • Maintain system and equipment balance during new installations and deinstallation of old process equipment.
  • Troubleshoot issues arising from designs that cannot meet air requirements.
  • Work as a team and keep each other accountable and safe.
  • Assist in emergencies as needed during evenings and weekends.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be a Sheetmetal Workers Union #359 member or willing to sign up for the apprentice program.
  • Must pass a drug screening including THC.
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken).
  • Must pass a background check.
