Overview

The Plant Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing basic installations, maintenance, and repairs on production and manufacturing equipment, ensuring proper functioning and compliance with preventative maintenance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform BASIC preventative maintenance inspection and service on all production and manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform BASIC troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair, and maintain equipment to meet company performance standards.
  • Interface, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electronic computerized systems and equipment.
  • Utilize a continuous improvement mindset to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Comply with all company work and safety rules and regulatory compliance.
  • Use personal protective equipment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Possess the necessary personal tools to perform duties.

Requirements

  • English is the primary language skill; bilingual skills may be beneficial.
  • Ability to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
  • Must be able to work independently and/or on a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and a systematic approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving are required.
  • Must pass pre-employment testing and physical evaluation and be at least 18 years of age.
  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or one-year related experience and/or training in manufacturing equipment maintenance and repair.
