Overview

CVS Health® is focused on creating a more connected and compassionate health experience. The Maintenance Mechanic role involves maintaining and improving facility equipment in a fast-paced distribution environment, supporting the reliability of various automated technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, motors, sensors, and material handling equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and execute timely repairs to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify equipment wear, defects, and improvement opportunities.
  • Complete maintenance work orders and maintain accurate service records.
  • Support spare parts inventory and equipment reliability initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with the installation, testing, and optimization of new equipment and automation systems.
  • Participate in extensive cross-training on AutoStore, Tompkins Robotics, and TGW automation technologies.
  • Mentor and support less experienced maintenance team members as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
  • Experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial equipment or conveyor systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation and work order management.
