Overview

Penn Color is seeking dedicated, hands-on individuals to join their Maintenance team as a Maintenance Technician at their Hatfield, PA facility. This third shift position offers a stable, long-term career path in a family-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using appropriate tools and diagnostics
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and reduce downtime
  • Conduct routine equipment and facility inspections to identify and resolve potential failures
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests to minimize operational disruption
  • Maintain and monitor building systems including HVAC, compressed air, and plant utilities
  • Accurately document all maintenance work in logs or CMMS systems
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumable materials
  • Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Trade school certification preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial or facility maintenance
  • Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
  • Attention to detail in documentation and inspections
  • A strong safety mindset and commitment to safe work practices
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong time management and task-prioritization skills
  • Adaptability in fast-paced, reactive environments
  • Clear communication skills when coordinating with production teams
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems preferred
  • Working knowledge of safety standards and safe work practices
