Overview

RK Mechanical is looking for a Skilled Laborer - Pipefitter to support pipefitting and mechanical crews. This entry-level position requires no previous experience, but a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, lift, and move pipe, materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Help crews prepare and maintain work areas.
  • Keep jobsites clean and organized.
  • Assist with other labor and trade-related tasks under direct supervision.
  • Follow established procedures and ask questions as you learn the trade.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, including in dusty, noisy, and potentially hazardous areas.
  • Ability to work at heights or in tight or confined spaces.
  • Must be able to climb, balance, squat, kneel, and crouch.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
  • Position may require lifting and carrying 51-75 pounds occasionally.
  • Exerting 31-45 pounds of force frequently.
  • Exerting 16-22 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
