Job Description
Overview
We're looking for an experienced Brake Press Programmer/Operator to join our sheet metal fabrication team. This is a true start-to-finish position — you'll own the process from operation to setup to programming.
Responsibilities
- Operate brake press equipment to fabricate sheet metal parts to spec
- Perform machine setup and changeovers
- Program the brake press CNC controls for various jobs
- Read and interpret blueprints/specs to ensure accurate bends and tolerances
- Inspect finished parts for quality and conformance to specifications
- Maintain a safe, organized work area
Requirements
- Proven experience operating, setting up, and programming a CNC brake press
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Reliable and able to work full 48-hour weeks including occasional Saturdays
