Job Description
Overview
We are a growing steel fabrication company that specializes in providing custom solutions for a wide range of industries including defense, industrial, municipal and structural markets. We are seeking a Welder/Fabricator to become an integral part of our team.
Responsibilities
- Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
- Build fixtures as necessary for repeatable items
- Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
- Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
- Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
Requirements
- Layout and fabrication experience with structural steel items
- Experience using saws, shears drills and other fabrication equipment to fabricate efficiently from blueprints
- Familiar with structural steel fabrications such as handrail, beams, stairs etc.
- AWS familiarity in reference to welding expectations
- 4 years minimum of fitting experience
- 4 years minimum of Mig Welding
- Plasma cutting and oxyfuel cutting
- Hi-Lo and Overhead Crane experience
