Overview

The MIG & TIG Welder/Fabricator role involves performing high-quality welding on heavy machinery and structural equipment, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring workspace safety. Candidates should have at least 2 years of welding experience and be able to operate hoists and forklifts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on heavy machinery and structural equipment.
  • Independently layout, align, and fit complex weldments using detailed 2D industrial prints.
  • Safely operate overhead hoists, forklifts, and standard fabrication equipment to position heavy components.
  • Inspect welds to ensure structural integrity and compliance with engineering blueprints.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with shop standards.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of welding experience.
  • Experience operating hoists and forklifts.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Self-motivated and punctual.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
