Overview

At IOS™, we're a Commercial Openings System Integrator, handling everything from estimating to service. The Production Specialist in the Metal Shop is responsible for manufacturing and assembling metal products, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate metalworking machinery and tools to manufacture and assemble metal products.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and goals.
  • Inspect and verify the quality of finished products.
  • Perform routine maintenance on metalworking machinery and tools.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
  • Previous experience in metalworking or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications.
  • Ability to operate metalworking machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain a clean work area.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
  • Prolonged periods standing and working with machinery.
