Job Description

Overview

The TIG Welder position at Vertiv requires candidates to have TIG welding experience and the ability to pass a welding test. The role offers a unique work schedule designed to promote work-life balance while performing welding tasks to print specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and weld parts and/or frames to print specifications and self-inspect finished product.
  • Align and clamp workpieces together using rules, squares, or hand tools.
  • Clean workpieces to remove dirt or excess acid using chemical solutions, files, wire brushes, or grinders.
  • MIG or TIG weld adjoining edges of workpieces using appropriate equipment.
  • Grind, cut, buff, or bend edges of workpieces to ensure snug fit.
  • Examine seams for defects and rework defective joints or broken parts.

Requirements

  • TIG welding experience required.
  • Must pass the TIG weld test.
