Job Description

Overview

This position is for a Structural & Misc Metals Fabricator/Erector based in Miami, Florida, requiring skilled tradespeople for both shop fabrication and field erection of various metal structures. The role involves working with columns, beams, stairs, and custom metal projects, with an immediate start available.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate structural and miscellaneous metals including columns, beams, stairs, rails, gates, and canopies.
  • Read and interpret shop drawings while maintaining tolerances.
  • Fit columns and beams, including coping, base plates, cap plates, and clips.
  • Build jigs for custom fabrication jobs.
  • Operate tools such as torches, plasma cutters, saws, grinders, shears, notchers, ironworkers, and pipe benders.
  • Erect structures in the field, including setting and bolting columns and beams.
  • Perform field measurements, leveling, and anchoring.
  • Conduct field welding and bolting.
  • Utilize rigging and signaling techniques.
  • Operate boom lifts and scissor lifts.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in structural and miscellaneous metals fabrication.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in field erection.
  • Ability to read shop drawings and hold tolerances.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • OSHA 10 certification and fall protection training.
  • General liability insurance and W-9 required.
