Overview

We are a growing commercial fabrication shop located in North Miami, specializing in millwork, architectural metals, and powder coating. We are seeking a fabricator who can work from shop drawings to pull, cut, and assemble aluminum, stainless, and steel components.

Responsibilities

  • Read basic shop drawings and cut lists to identify material and dimensions needed.
  • Pull stock material from the shelf/rack and cut to size using shop saws.
  • Fit, align, and clamp pieces together, prepping assemblies for welding.
  • Keep parts organized and staged for welders to move through jobs without delay.
  • Coordinate with welding, laser/CNC, and powder coating teams to maintain workflow.
  • Follow safety protocols and OSHA standards; keep your station and equipment organized.
  • Occasionally support on-site installation or repairs when needed.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working in a metal fabrication, welding, or machine shop.
  • Comfortable working with aluminum, stainless, and steel.
  • Ability to read a basic shop drawing or cut list without supervision.
  • Confident using shop saws and basic layout/measuring tools.
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy materials.
  • Reliable transportation to the North Miami shop.
  • Russian or Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required.
