Overview

At StandardAero, we use our ingenuity and know-how to find solutions for the simple to the most complex challenges in aviation. As a Welder I (TIG) on the 2nd shift, you will operate various metal fabrication equipment and contribute to the production of aviation parts.

Responsibilities

  • Produce a variety of parts from shop drawings to conform to specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
  • Operate brazing and soldering equipment
  • Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears, and other metal straightening and bending machines
  • Participate in continuous improvement of processes
  • Cross train in other complementary skills to support production requirements
  • Observe all applicable safety requirements

Requirements

  • 3 months or more of TIG welding experience
  • At least 6 months of experience reading, understanding, and interpreting blueprints and basic welding process specifications under supervision
  • Ability to sit or stand at least 50% of work shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

What you'll be running
