Position Title: Welder Wage: $23.00-$36.00 Shift: 1st, 2nd Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm; 2:00pm-10:30pm QPS Employment Group has a great Welder position available at a company in Franklin, WI. This is a 1st and 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire. Welder Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Pull parts to assemble, test and skid/pack per drawings, specifications, and procedures. - Assemble finished products from blueprints to the specification indicated on the blueprints. - Prepare units for shipment. Constructs skids and boxes as required. Paints, stencils, and affixes nameplates as required. - Maintain tools and equipment provided for the assembly operations. - Maintain work area in an organized manner. - Comply with all the ISO 9001 Quality standards, policies, and procedures of the company. Welder Requirements: - Weld Proficiency – Aluminum. - Written and oral communication. - Driven for results. - Effective problem resolution. - Process improvement. - High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment. - Mechanical aptitude and a functional knowledge of hand tools. - Ability to read blueprints. - Requires standing at workstation for at least 8 hours per day. - Considerable physical effort working with average or heavy weight materials, and/or tools or difficult work positions for sustained periods of time. - Ability to lift and maneuver parts up to 50 pounds.
