Overview

GA Telesis is a global leader providing integrated solutions to the aviation and aerospace industries, seeking an Aviation Welder for their MRO division in Fort Lauderdale. The role involves performing high-quality welding repairs on commercial aircraft components in a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality welding repairs on commercial aircraft components.
  • Efficiently manage multiple tasks.
  • Create structures by welding together components.
  • Read and understand engineering drawings and welding symbols.
  • Weld base metal groups including Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and Inconel.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years welding experience.
  • Must pass AWS D17.1 practical welding test on all aircraft metals.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • A&P License or specialized training desired.

  • Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.
