Overview

The Tool Maker I position involves working from engineering drawings to create tools using various machine tools and hand tools. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently while assisting production and ensuring quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Work from engineering drawings to lay out designs on raw material and cut it to size and shape using machine tools, power tools, and hand tools.
  • Assist production by communicating tooling issues.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing results with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist in other duties as needed to ensure quality levels of facility activities.
  • Responsible for all customer-specific requirements where applicable, including those referenced in Quality manuals.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
