Overview

Clyde’s Donuts is a family-owned food manufacturer known for high-quality donuts since 1920. The Maintenance Mechanic will perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs on various equipment under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with production and maintenance management.
• Use computerized maintenance management system to manage maintenance schedules and work orders.
• Complete daily inspections and emergency repairs of building and production equipment.
• Install new electrical and mechanical equipment as directed.
• Perform electrical repairs and troubleshoot various control systems.
• Maintain facility utilities including refrigeration and safety equipment.
• Read schematics and maintain organized documentation.
• Maintain accurate spare parts inventory and good housekeeping.
• Support continuous improvement projects and maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in training of others and comply with safety and food safety requirements.

Requirements

• 4+ years of related industrial maintenance experience or equivalent education.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and preventative maintenance software.
• Ability to troubleshoot malfunctions and solve practical problems.
• Ability to read and interpret complex work instructions and technical manuals.
• Basic math skills and ability to apply algebra and geometry concepts.
• Effective communication skills in questioning, listening, speaking, and writing.
• Demonstrates sound judgment and uses time efficiently.

• Location: 1120 West Fullerton Avenue, Addison IL
• Schedule: 5-day work week
• Shift: 2nd Shift/ 2:00-10:30pm
• Voluntary overtime available
• Sign-on bonus of $3,000
