Overview

TRIUMPH is a company that designs, engineers, manufactures, repairs, and overhauls a wide range of aviation and industrial components. They are looking for a Title Strander A to set up and operate various machines to produce cables and cores to meet their standards.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate multiple stranding, flex conduit, and captivated ball machines.
  • Select gear ratios, mount proper gears, capstans, knives, and dies.
  • Load reels and wire bobbins into machines and thread cores and wires through pulleys and dies.
  • Lock and secure bobbin holders and make adjustments to maintain quality standards.
  • Check work produced using measuring instruments and submit samples for testing.
  • Maintain machines, lubricate bearings, and check oil and cooling water levels.
  • Braise, silver solder, or butt-weld broken wires or cables as necessary.
  • Assist in receiving and storing wire and report any unusual conditions.
