Overview

The Workshop Supervisor position at EthosEnergy's Engine Repair Operations facility in Houston, Texas, involves supporting the Production Department and reporting to the Production Manager. The role requires a motivated professional with 1-3 years of related experience and a foundational understanding of engineering principles, preferably with technical school certification or education in mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, and reassembly of gas turbine generators and associated equipment.
  • Execute component repairs and overhauls according to production schedules and customer specifications.
  • Complete all repair, overhaul, and inspection documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Perform precision measurements and calculations using measuring tools.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
  • Report all accidents, incidents, near misses, and hazards to the HSE Department.
  • Promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and support employee development.
  • Understanding of fundamental engineering principles preferred.
  • High school diploma required; technical school certification preferred.
  • Education in mechanical engineering or related technical field is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
  • Dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work successfully in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
