ReGroup is seeking a Boilermaker for a full-time permanent contract on a 5+ year project, offering a supportive team culture that values safety and career growth.

Requirements

  • Australian Trade Certificate - Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication Trade
  • 2+ years post-trade experience (preferably on a mine site)
  • HR Drivers Licence (manual)
  • Machinery operating experience (preferred)
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen
  • Ability to work both unsupervised and within a team environment
  • Heavy Fabrication Experience
  • HME chassis repairs
  • G.E.T. change-outs
  • Bucket and Tray repairs/refurbishments
  • Mining and civil machinery repairs (oxy cutting/gouging/lancing)
  • Mig/Tig and stick welding (both innershield and outershield)

What you'll be running

This posting calls for MIG, TIG, and Stick work. MIG (GMAW) feeds a continuous wire electrode through a shielding-gas nozzle. TIG (GTAW) uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode with filler added by hand, giving the operator the most control of any process. It is slow, demanding, and the standard for stainless, aluminum, and anything where the bead has to look as good as it holds.
