Overview

At Relativity Space, we're building rockets to meet today's needs and tomorrow's breakthroughs. The Senior Integration Technician will play a critical role in assembling, testing, and installing flight hardware for the Terran R vehicle, contributing to the future of scaled launch.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure various components and systems of flight hardware are assembled, tested, and installed with high quality.
  • Operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to build and install flight hardware.
  • Collaborate with the production team, integration engineers, and quality team to develop and document job operations.
  • Focus on assembly, installation, and testing of flight hardware through development and production of Terran R.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or related field.
  • Experience in a fast-paced production environment handling flight hardware.
  • Wide range of technical skills including fastener/torque applications, secondary retention, testing, avionics familiarity, and bonding operations.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written) with engineering and production.
  • Ability to set up and operate a wide range of hand and pneumatic tools along with calibrated tools and measuring devices.
  • Comfortable climbing ladders and working in tight spaces.
  • Ability to navigate and walk on uneven terrain or surfaces.
  • Able to frequently crouch, bend, or squat to access low-level areas or equipment.
  • Able to kneel to perform work duties as needed throughout a shift.
  • Able to reach and extend arms overhead to complete assembly tasks.

  • Weekend shift position with a schedule of Friday through Monday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PT, including 8 guaranteed overtime hours each week.
  • Employees receive a 10% premium.
