Overview

BrandSafway is seeking an Engineer I to drive innovation and collaborate on technical projects within the Engineering department. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to various construction projects, including high rises and infrastructure, while providing support for professional engineering license pursuits.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare drawing submittals using Revit and AutoCAD in accordance with design codes and company standards.
  • Perform engineering analysis, calculations, and design for access systems.
  • Utilize engineering software to support design efforts.
  • Provide technical support to branches and project sites.
  • Collaborate with Product Development teams for custom solutions.
  • Develop familiarity with BrandSafway products for optimized access solutions.
  • Apply knowledge of available fleet for efficient designs.
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with a structural emphasis or equivalent required.
  • Passed FE exam and obtained EIT status, with intent to pursue Professional Engineer licensure.
  • 1 to 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in CAD and 3D modeling using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Proficient in performing engineering calculations using standard software.
  • Basic knowledge of structural analysis and FEA software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to solve problems in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
  • Motivated to learn and grow within the construction and engineering industry.
