Overview

Regal Rexnord Corporation is a leading manufacturer of automation solutions and mechanical power transmission products. The Maintenance Tradesperson II position is responsible for maintaining all machinery, equipment, and facilities at the Rexnord Downers Grove location, requiring an experienced Electrical and Mechanical maintenance technician.

Responsibilities

• Make modifications to controls and document print changes.
• Diagnose problems and efficiently make repairs using machine diagnostics.
• Assemble, install, and repair wiring and electrical components.
• Align and balance new equipment after installation.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment and production machines.
• Apply appropriate welding processes to join or repair parts.
• Maintain inventory for repair parts and order necessary supplies.
• Record equipment repairs and utilize the CMMS.
• Develop and perform preventative maintenance work orders.
• Train others on various maintenance processes and equipment.
• Promote safety awareness and follow safety standards.
• Work productively to ensure timely flow of orders.
• Contribute to the improvement of 5S in the department.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proof of technical training in electronic systems or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to understand blueprints, schematics, and operation manuals.
• Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC equipment.
• Must work as part of a team and perform work in accordance with safety procedures.

Additional Information

• This is a fully onsite role.
• Work schedule is 10pm-6am Sunday-Thursday with training on 1st shift 6am-2pm Monday-Friday.
• Compensation range of $31-38/hr plus $2/hr shift premium.
• Benefits, shift premium, and 401k start on the first day.
