Overview

Insight Global is seeking experienced Structures Mechanics / Composite Technicians to join a growing aviation repair organization in Cedar Hill, Texas. This company is a subsidiary of a leading aircraft maintenance and repair organization and offers strong career advancement opportunities while providing industry-leading benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Perform composite and structural repairs on aircraft components and assemblies
  • Conduct technician-level inspections to identify damage and required repairs
  • Remove damaged material and prepare repair areas for restoration
  • Perform composite layups, bonding, trimming, sanding, and finishing operations
  • Complete sheet metal fabrication and structural repair activities as needed
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, repair manuals, and technical documentation
  • Ensure all repairs are completed in compliance with FAA and company quality standards
  • Accurately document maintenance and repair activities

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience performing composite repairs
  • Experience in damage removal, inspections, fabrication, and structural restoration work
  • Experience in a maintenance and repair setting rather than an OEM or manufacturing environment
