Overview

We’re looking for motivated, hardworking individuals to join our team in a Fabricator role at our David City Manufacturing Center. This position offers hands-on work where you can see the results of what you build, in a team-focused environment that values hard work and pride in craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Setup and operate any equipment in the fabrication department as required.
  • Fabricate parts using production schedules, cut sheets and blueprints.
  • Move material in and out of fabrication department.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to keep tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Practice good housekeeping and keep work area organized.
  • Inspect work for quality, workmanship and that they meet blueprint tolerances.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by team leader or supervisor.
  • Be responsible for working safely and for the safety of others working in the area.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management or required by the position.

  • Able to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and schedules.
  • Have knowledge to operate machines, hand tools, tape measures and other equipment.
  • Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
