Overview

The Mechanical Engineering Intern for ITW Commercial Construction North America will assist in the development of heavy duty anchoring products, providing hands-on exposure to engineering skills and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining & updating engineering documentation using SolidWorks and Product Data Management systems
  • Developing and executing test programs for existing products and products in development
  • Analyzing and reporting data on existing products and products in development
  • Designing and building prototypes & test fixtures utilizing 3D modeling, machining, 3D printing, and welding

Requirements

  • Completed a minimum of 3 years (Senior) in an accredited BSME program
  • Working knowledge of SOLIDWORKS and 3D modeling
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Construction experience or knowledge is a plus
  • Previous internship experience is a plus
