Overview

Lift Solutions provides end-to-end industrial lifting solutions and is looking for a Wire Rope Sling Fabricator in Bronx, NY to join the Rigging team. The role involves leading workflow, fabrication, testing, and quality control for the company’s product line while ensuring safety compliance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing/Production of wire rope & chain slings
  • Utilizing hydraulic machinery (presses, reeling machine, pull test machine)
  • Forklift Operation
  • Satisfactorily preparing materials for shipment (prepping freight shipments)
  • Loading/offloading trucks
  • Keeping an organized/safe work area
  • Restocking materials in the warehouse
  • Assisting with annual Inventory
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to be on feet for extended periods of time
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent
  • Driver's license, preferred
  • 3-5 years experience in Wire Rope Sling Fabrication, preferred
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position
  • Ability to be certified to operate a forklift
  • Attention to detail with the ability to direct work and meet customer deadlines
  • Basic reading, writing, arithmetic and communication skills required
