Overview

We are seeking an experienced 6G Pipe Welder to join a commercial new construction project in the Tempe, AZ area. The ideal candidate will have strong pipe welding skills, a current or applicable 6010 welding certification, and the ability to produce high-quality welds while meeting project specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform 6G pipe welding on commercial new construction projects.
  • Complete pipe welds using 6010 electrodes in accordance with project specifications.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.
  • Prepare, fit, align, and tack pipe prior to welding.
  • Inspect welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all jobsite safety procedures and welding requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with pipefitters, foremen, and other construction trades to maintain project schedules.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience performing 6G pipe welding.
  • 6010 welding certification required.
  • Ability to read and interpret welding drawings and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of pipe welding techniques and procedures.
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently on an active commercial construction site.
  • Reliable transportation to the Tempe, AZ jobsite.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
