Overview

Aggreko is seeking a Technician 1 in Bridgeport, NJ, to perform maintenance and repairs on power generation and HVAC equipment, ensuring reliable service for customers in various sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and occasionally at customer locations.
  • Work overtime and weekends as needed, with potential for travel.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 4+ years of experience working on power generators, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Experience with calculating nominal and effective kW requirements and reading schematics.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to move or lift objects typically less than 75 lbs.
  • May need to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card based on customer requirements.

Additional Information
