Job Description
Overview
This position is for a Maintenance Mechanic specializing in Mold Injection at an award-winning manufacturing company located just south of Downtown LA. The company values its employees and aims to provide an excellent experience for both staff and clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on injection molding equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical or electrical issues promptly.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and upgrading existing systems.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve equipment reliability.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the engineering industry.
- Strong focus on injection molding equipment.
- Thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
