Overview

Digital Building Components, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is seeking a Structural Engineer. The role involves developing drawings, specifications, and calculations for various building types and materials while collaborating with a team to deliver high-quality design solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the production of drawings, specifications, and calculations during a project’s design phase.
  • Assist in the development of structural designs and analytical models using relevant codes.
  • Support construction administration activities, including reviewing shop drawings and responding to RFIs.
  • Utilize CAD software, including Tekla Structures, to create 2D drawings and 3D models.
  • Participate in internal and external coordination meetings to communicate progress and resolve design issues.
  • Engage in professional development and identify opportunities for technical and process enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a structural focus or equivalent experience required.
  • 4+ years of experience in structural engineering required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • NCEES record for licensure maintenance preferred.
