Overview

Granite Peak Fabrication is an ISO 9001:2015 certified shop in Casper, WY, specializing in designing and building ASME Code pressure vessels and custom process equipment for various markets. They are seeking experienced ASME and API Code Pipe Welders who can consistently produce high-quality welds.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate to ASME Section VIII, B31.1, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8 and API 1104.
  • Produce 100% X-ray quality welds with no failures.
  • Lay out, fit up, and weld pipe spools and pressure vessel components.
  • Inspect dimensional requirements and welds prior to QA/QC inspection.
  • Read and comprehend blueprints, bills of material, and customer specifications.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Maintain a clean, safe working area and report issues to the shop Foreman.
  • Be flexible with job duties and available for overtime.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience with GMAW, GTAW & FCAW code pipe welding.
  • Pass a 6G bend test on 2.5” XXH pipe using GMAW and FCAW.
  • Able to read vessel and spool prints and fabricate from them.
  • Pre-employment drug test is required.
  • Must have personal tools including a tape measure and level.
