Overview

DC Fabricators (DCF) is seeking a talented Welder to join their skilled team at the manufacturing facility in Florence, NJ. This on-site position requires collaboration across departments to ensure high-quality components are produced safely and accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across departments to solve problems and support efficient operations.
  • Ensure every component is completed safely, accurately, and with precision.
  • Produce products to DCF's quality standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience welding in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to weld manual, semi-automatic and mechanized welding processes (GTAW and GMAW-Pulsed).
  • Welds must pass various NDE criteria such as VT, MT, RT, UT.
  • Weld qualifications will be VT and RT inspected.
  • Ability to use measuring instruments of the trade (scales, tape measure, weld gages, etc.).
  • Ability to work without direct supervision and direct co-workers.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and work inspection packages.
  • Good communication skills - ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
  • US citizenship is required.

What you'll be running

This posting calls for MIG and TIG work. MIG (GMAW) feeds a continuous wire electrode through a shielding-gas nozzle. It lays down metal fast and is forgiving on clean material, which is why it dominates production and light fabrication work. TIG (GTAW) uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode with filler added by hand, giving the operator the most control of any process. It is slow, demanding, and the standard for stainless, aluminum, and anything where the bead has to look as good as it holds.
