Job Description
Overview
Holman is a family-owned, global automotive services organization that values positive relationships and customer service. Holman Collison Maple Shade is seeking a Body/Metal Technician to perform repairs and restoration of collision damage to vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Manage body, frame and/or mechanical repair of vehicles.
- Review damage reports and prepare or review repair cost estimates.
- Remove damaged panels and identify the properties of the plastic used on vehicles.
- Inspect repaired vehicles for proper functioning and overall appearance.
- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper alignment and handling.
- Position dolly blocks against surfaces of dented areas and beat opposite surfaces to remove dents.
- Fit and weld replacement parts into place and grind down welds to smooth them.
Requirements
- 3+ years of related auto body experience.
- ICAR certifications desired.
- Knowledge of frame and uni-body repairs required.
- Extensive mechanical abilities and training in car damage repairs.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Driver's License and a clean MVR.
- Willingness to satisfy background requirements, drug and physical tests.
