DC Fabricators

Overview

DC Fabricators (DCF) is seeking a talented Erector to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Florence, NJ. The Erector will be part of a skilled team that delivers high-quality components, ensuring precision, reliability, and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Utilize basic hand tools such as wrenches, impact guns, and electric and air operated hand tools.
• Utilize and understand rolling equipment, hydro-swage equipment, manual torque wrenches, pressure gauges, fluid systems, and hydraulic equipment.
• Assemble an assortment of products using various raw materials, tools, and their own hands.
• Read and understand work instructions and engineering specifications.
• Assemble parts to meet drawing and other specifications.
• Paint equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.
• Safely handle assemblies and operate overhead cranes and other material handling equipment.
• Provide guidance and direction to hourly personnel assigned to the department/shift, including training.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or trade school.
• At least three years of relevant mechanical experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Eager to learn and willing to be trained.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for the majority of the day.
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
• US citizenship is required.
