Overview

Epiroc is a global productivity partner for mining and construction customers, providing innovative and safe equipment and solutions. The Assembler role involves performing assembly operations on drilling rigs and equipment while adhering to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Install and connect hydraulic controls, pumps, rams, and other system elements.
  • Mount, hook-up and connect engines, gear boxes, axles and other power components and units.
  • Assemble mounted hydraulic products including the installation and tightening of common bolts and hydraulic hoses per process sheets.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the assembly area.
  • Detect and report defective materials, faulty operation, and unusual conditions to immediate Supervisor.
  • Follow prescribed safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintain work-related records and reports.
  • Perform other duties as required or directed.
  • Train new hires.
  • Complete appropriate paperwork for rejected parts.
  • Return to Stock (RTS) non-required parts to the Warehouse.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • Two years minimum as an assembler preferred.
  • Must have training in reading blueprints.
  • Required to read, write and comprehend English.
  • Knowledge of all mechanical components on the rig and their ideal operation.
  • Overall knowledge of product line.
  • Basic understanding of troubleshooting principles.
  • Knowledge of MFG Pro preferred.

  • Work Type: Onsite
  • Shift Timings: Monday – Friday from 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.
  • Moderate physical demand in handling materials and tools.
  • May be required to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Work involves climbing or working at elevated heights.
