Overview

Daisy Brand is seeking motivated Maintenance Technicians to ensure the efficient and safe operation of all areas of the plant, including processing, packaging, and utilities. The role offers opportunities for personal and professional growth while maintaining a work-life balance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient and safe operation of all areas of the plant.
  • Collaborate and solve problems with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain highly technical and automated equipment.
  • Follow Daisy Brand food safety and quality protocols.
  • Adhere to GMPs, housekeeping, and safe work practices.
  • Perform general building maintenance as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or G.E.D. required; additional technical certifications preferred.
  • Understanding of electrical schematics and documentation.
  • Experience with 480V 3 phase troubleshooting and wiring.
  • Knowledge of low voltage controls, VFDs, and servos.
  • Welding skills including MIG, TIG, and Arc.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in pumps, valves, and gearboxes.
  • Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems operation.
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs including SLC 500, PLC 5, and Logix 5000.
  • Experience with conveyors, palletizing equipment, and case packers preferred.
  • Familiarity with utilities such as boilers, air compressors, and ammonia refrigeration.
