TreeHouse Foods is a leading manufacturer of private label packaged foods and beverages, committed to excellence and investing in talent. The Multicraft Mechanic role involves maintaining and improving tea manufacturing equipment and systems while ensuring safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on vacuum bulk transfer systems, dust collection systems, blending equipment, and general building systems.
  • Assess maintenance needs and determine the scope of work required to complete repairs or improvements with limited direction from the Plant Maintenance Manager.
  • Coordinate and procure materials, parts, and services necessary to execute maintenance activities.
  • Accurately track and document work orders, maintenance activities, and job completion in eMaint (CMMS).
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives, workplace safety programs, and GMP compliance across the facility.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

Requirements

  • A High School diploma or GED.
  • Successful completion of a Mechanical and Electrical Aptitude Assessment; HVAC certification is considered an asset.
  • Millwright experience in an industrial or food manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience maintaining high-speed packaging equipment in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing settings.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, and automated systems.
  • Practical experience with conveyors, bulk material handling systems, welding, and fabrication.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints to diagnose and complete repairs effectively.

Additional Information

  • This is a full-time permanent role on the 2nd shift, which operates Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays.
  • Overtime may be available, depending on the needs of the business.
  • The anticipated starting wage rate for this position is $26.30 + $0.60 shift differential.
