Overview

I.K. Hofmann USA is seeking a Production Supervisor in Marietta, GA to oversee daily manufacturing activities, ensure product quality, and enforce safety regulations while providing training and coordinating shift workers.

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily manufacturing activities, machine operations, and welding workflows to meet strict delivery deadlines.
  • Ensure fabricated products match precise technical specifications while enforcing plant safety regulations and OSHA standards.
  • Coordinate shift workers, assign daily tasks, and provide hands-on training for assembly and fabrication staff.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and design engineers to optimize production techniques and workflow efficiency.
  • Perform high-quality manual TIG welding on thin-gauge stainless steel and specialized metal components.
  • Read and analyze shop drawings, technical schematics, and work orders to plan the layout and assembly of custom ventilation parts.
  • Operate fabrication machinery and use hand grinders to prepare and clean joints before welding.
  • Inspect finished welds and assemblies for structural precision, airtightness, and surface finish conformance.

Requirements

  • Must be able to move up to 30lbs.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for some parts of the day.
  • Must be able to position oneself to access equipment, as needed.

  • Work schedule is Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 4:45pm.
  • Must be able to wear protective gear such as work boots.
