Overview

AMETEK LMS is seeking a GTAW Welder I to join their dynamic production team in a clean and organized manufacturing environment. This role involves following specifications and ensuring quality in welding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions in the work order and examine final products for completion according to specifications.
• Set up and complete jobs according to blueprints, drawings, and process sheets using Auto-Tig and Hand-Tig.
• Check welds visually and dimensionally with measuring instruments for conformance to blueprints and specifications.
• Organize work and storage areas for efficient workflow.
• Perform cross sectioning and etching of weld samples.
• Cross-train for testing and mechanical assembly tasks.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift, push, pull at least 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of arithmetic.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good hand and eye coordination.
• 1-year previous TIG welding experience or completion of an accredited welding program.
