Overview

Grantek is a leading provider of integrated automation and industrial information solutions. They are hiring for their sister company, Compumation, which has been delivering automation solutions for over 30 years and is looking to add a panel builder to their design and manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

  • Build and wire panels from scratch reading electrical schematics.
  • Perform field wiring to either the panel I/O or field mount I/O devices.
  • Read and understand pneumatic schematics for pneumatic plumbing.
  • Mount electrical controls components to the machine and fabricate mounting brackets as required.
  • Read and understand electrical schematics.
  • Troubleshoot and debug systems to diagnose trouble or defects and determine corrective action.
  • Ensure all equipment is in proper working condition after troubleshooting.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on automation systems and components.
  • Provide status updates to management on assigned projects.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with some college or technical school coursework.
  • 2+ years of experience wiring automated equipment.
  • Ability to use a variety of hand/power tools and test equipment related to panel builder duties.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
