Overview

Sunrise Electric, a brand of Viking Electric, is seeking a Wire Cutter for their Addison, IL location. This full-time position involves coiling, spooling, cutting, and labeling wire for customer orders in a collaborative warehouse environment, with comprehensive on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

  • Review customer orders to determine the appropriate reel size and the type, size, and color of wire needed.
  • Measure and cut wire using cutting machinery.
  • Unload empty reels and load new ones onto the wire machine.
  • Restock and replenish wire inventory as needed.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly, or up to 75 lbs. with assistance.
  • Proficient in using RF devices, computer systems, and other warehouse technology.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using a calculator.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand and walk for the full length of your shift.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship.

Additional Information

  • Schedule: 9:00am start time Monday - Friday
  • Hourly pay: $22.00/hr - $27.00/hr plus a $3.00/hr wire cutting differential.
