Goodyear is seeking a Mid-Level Automotive Technician in San Angelo, TX, to gain hands-on experience in diagnosing technical issues and delivering outstanding service in a fun, fast-paced work environment. Responsibilities

  • Utilize mechanical aptitude to diagnose technical issues.
  • Perform line technician services and routine inspections/maintenance.
  • Conduct system diagnostics and problem-solving.
  • Execute brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, and preventative maintenance.
  • Carry out wheel alignments and tire installations.
  • Provide excellent guest service and clear communication about guest vehicles.
  • Guide and mentor junior automotive technicians.
  • Document all work performed on repair orders.
  • Report any safety issues immediately to management.
  • Promote teamwork to deliver timely and accurate guest care.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
  • Commitment to learning new technologies in the automotive industry.
  • Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.
  • Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.
