Overview
The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing a variety of inspections, checks, and tests for quality control in the manufacturing of products. This role involves collaboration with quality and production teams to ensure quality-produced items while allowing for creativity in solving quality concerns.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of inspections, checks, testing, and sampling procedures for product manufacturing processes using various measuring tools.
- Conduct manufacturing inspections and sampling and testing of incoming aerospace components and raw materials to ensure company standards are met.
- Conduct final inspections on outgoing components.
- Prepare product verification documentation.
- Use part-marking equipment on incoming aerospace components.
- Perform component dimensional inspections per customer requirements.
Requirements
- High School or Equivalent required.
- Technical/Trade School preferred.
- 1-3 years’ experience of Quality Inspection.
- Strong work ethic and good attitude.
- Must be able to read and understand drawings and blueprints, parts lists, inspection plans, and specification instructions.
