Overview

The Pipefitter Journeyman position in Phoenix, AZ involves planning, laying out, and performing various pipe fitting and fabrication tasks according to industry standards. The role requires effective communication and collaboration while ensuring high-quality work and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Continually seek opportunities to share knowledge and teach others.
• Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage and time.
• Inspect subordinates' work, ensuring accuracy and compliance with plans and specifications.
• Look for opportunities for improvement in all tasks and methods.
• Maintain positive working relationships with all crew members.
• Produce high quality work, safely and productively at all times.
• Provide feedback to ensure all materials, tools, equipment, and information are available for the work.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and understand drawings, specifications, safety, and quality standards.
• Must have a minimum of three to six plus years of experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry.
• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required.
