Overview

Key Technology, a global leader in food processing technology since 1948, is seeking a Welder to fabricate stainless steel equipment in a dynamic production environment. The position involves using blueprints and engineering drawings for fitting and welding assemblies and sub-assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate stainless steel equipment used in food processing.
• Use blueprints and engineering drawings to fit and weld assemblies and sub-assemblies.

Requirements

• High school education, community college weld program, technical weld school, or equivalent experience.
• Three years’ experience in welding fabrication.
• Basic GMAW and GTAW abilities.
• Knowledge of gas torch and plasma equipment, overhead crane operations, and pneumatic hand tools.
• Experience in MIG, TIG, and TIP/TIG welding.

Additional Information

• Swing Shift offers a 4-day work week schedule and a shift differential equal to 15% additional pay.
• Position is contingent on successful completion of weld written and practical tests.
