Overview

Titanium Fabrication (TiFab) is seeking a hands-on Quality Inspector to support the inspection of precision fabricated and machined components for defense, chemical processing, and industrial applications. This role involves shop floor inspection and quality documentation, providing ownership of the quality process from incoming material to final shipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform dimensional inspections throughout fabrication and machining operations
  • Inspect incoming raw materials and verify conformance to purchase orders and certifications
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections on fabricated assemblies
  • Witness fit-up inspections and approve work before production continues
  • Maintain complete material traceability throughout manufacturing
  • Prepare customer quality documentation, inspection reports, and turnover packages
  • Work directly with customer inspectors during audits and witness inspections
  • Coordinate quality activities with engineering, production, purchasing, and sales
  • Perform vendor inspections when required
  • Help resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • 3+ years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, and gauges
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Experience with dimensional inspection and quality documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Additional Information

  • Salary: $85,000-$110,000
  • Schedule: Monday through Thursday: 6:30 AM-3:30 PM, Friday: 6-hour workday, Optional overtime available
