Overview

Tindall Corporation is a leading Precast Concrete Manufacturer dedicated to supporting customers and delivering innovative solutions. The Structural Welder position involves performing various welding duties on erection sites while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform all welding duties required on the erection site.
• Clean connection plates with chipping hammer and wire brush.
• Move ladder to various locations for welding.
• Climb up ladder to extreme heights to connect panels with weld connections.
• Drill holes for red head bolts in foundation and install red heads.
• Bolt clip angle to foundation and weld angles to panel.
• Alleviate bad joints using a hand wrench to pull the panel together.
• Weld haunch and base plates on members at job site when required.
• Weld connection plates on panels, beams, columns, and double tees as needed.
• Assist erection crew with duties such as grouting and positioning members.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.

Requirements

• Certified in AWS Positions: SMAW-3F and SMAW-4F.
• Valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
