Overview

Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases is a leading provider of cryogenic pumps and services for the LNG and industrial gases industry. They are seeking a Regional Field Service Engineer to deliver technical support for cryogenic equipment in a customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert onsite technical support for installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of cryogenic systems and equipment.
  • Serve as a technical advisor to customers, ensuring optimal system performance and adherence to OEM and industry standards.
  • Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and control system issues using advanced troubleshooting methods.
  • Minimize system downtime through efficient root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including inspections, calibration, and component replacement.
  • Respond promptly to customer service requests and execute onsite repairs with precision and professionalism.
  • Deliver technical training to customers on safe operation and maintenance of cryogenic equipment.
  • Promote best practices and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare detailed field service reports, maintain accurate service records, and document equipment history.
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and improvement opportunities to internal teams and customers.
  • Uphold Nikkiso’s safety standards and promote a strong safety culture in the field.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying new knowledge to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience working with cryogenic systems or closely related technologies.
  • Proven experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of complex technical systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Experience planning and executing field service activities and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Technical degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering discipline is preferred.
  • Experience in industrial, energy, marine, aerospace, or gas processing environments is preferred.
