Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, disassemble, clean, check, repair, rework, replace, fabricate, assemble, install, and adjust building components and equipment.
  • Execute plumbing and millwright assignments.
  • Weld materials and perform general building maintenance.
  • Maintain locks and keys for facilities and digital security access doors.
  • Assist in the storage, removal, and clean-up of hazardous waste.
  • Ensure proper completion of forms, records, reports, and other paperwork.
  • Request parts and clean the work area after each shift.
  • Perform Foreign Object Debris (FOD) walks.
  • Coordinate with vendors regarding technical questions and escort them throughout airport property.
  • Report to position on time and perform all functions in accordance with safety procedures.
  • Complete job-relevant trainings and adhere to government regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate with other employees, vendors, and stakeholders to accomplish work tasks.
  • Perform duties requiring general safety awareness and wear required uniforms and work shoes.
  • Use relevant electronic systems to complete work.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand English.
  • Minimum of 36 months journeyman experience in maintenance trades.
  • Possess applicable state or city license.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in any weather conditions.
  • Availability to work extra hours during operational needs.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks for airport access.
  • Must secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
  • Successful completion of drug screening process.
